Drugstore Haul, First Impressions & Look I Created With Products

Hey Girlies, Recently I purchased these goodies at my local superdrug and I wanted to share with you guys my thoughts on these products and whether you should buy them or not.

L'oreal Mega Volume Manga Eyes Mascara

If I'm honest I only really bought this mascara as it was on offer for 6 pounds which is amazing for a L'oreal mascara as there usually quite expensive and because the packaging was pink so I thought it was so cute. Its so good, It lasts ages on my eyelashes and adds a lot of volume. It reminded me of a Lancome mascara I used to own as the brush looked so similar but I can't remember which one. I wouldn't purchase it again as I'm more of a fan of plastic wands but I'd recommend buying it now whilst its on offer. Below is a picture of what the wand looks like.

2 True All Over Natural Bronzer

I bought this bronzer as My Benefit Hoola finally ran out and I didn't want to buy an expensive bronzer just yet. This bronzer is matte and its so pigmented, its not orange and lasts all day. Its also so cheap at £1.99. I will defentanly be using this till I get a different bronzer. It will be good for girls who are on a budget. The logo is also in pink so it looks really pretty and girly.

MUA Matte Lipstick in Scarlet Siren

I was so excited when I saw this in the shop. I've wanted a matte red lipstick for ages and when I heard MUA had bought out a matte range of lipsticks I was so happy. I've never been into lipsticks and I want to get into them more as some colours are just stunning. This red is more of a pinky red when you first apply it but if you layer the product the colour goes into a beautiful matte red shade. Its goes on smoothly Its not drying and its not too matte. Its stunning and I love it! I'm going to be trying out all the other colours. Its also a bargain at a £1.00!

NYC Skin Matching Illuminating Foundation

I saw this in superdrug for £2.50! And I just had to buy it, the packaging was so pretty and I love glowy skin so anything which is illuminating I just have to have. The foundation is very pink toned but it does dry to match the skin tone and a more yellow toned colour. It gives the skin a sutble glow. I applied it with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush and it gave a nice finish. The foundation doesn't have much coverage which I suppose I like as I don't like too much coverage but it didn't really cover up any redness that much. The foundation is defenatly build able though so you could layer it to get the desired coverage. I can't complain for £2.50! It also lasts long on the skin. The texture of the foundation is thick so you don't need a lot to cover the face. I only used about 1 and a half pumps.

Left to Right: NYC foundation in Medium, 2True All Natural Bronzer.
